This International Women’s Day, threads is exploring what makes a successful woman. Revisiting the famous Coco Chanel quote: “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous,” we ask a panel of women leaders what their two secrets to #GirlBoss success are, or if it’s even possible to sum up female success in just two words.

We’re delighted to announce that we will be hearing from three speakers, with a guest panel following.

The speakers are: Beth G Harper (entrepreneur), Alice Boyle (social enterprise entrepreneur) and Angela Buttolph (editor at large, Grazia).

Our guest panel includes these three speakers, plus:

Hannah Kendall (composer, recipient of Woman of the Future Award for the Arts, 2015)
Dr Claire Rush (VP of Girl’s Brigade Worldwide)
Persia Lawson & Joey Bradford (authors, and co-founders of Addictive Daughter)

Join us in London on 8 March to celebrate IWD with these inspirational speakers, friends and threads!

When: Tuesday 8 March, 7.30pm
Where: Kahaila Cafe, Brick Lane, London

We are a collective of Christians from all walks of life, who are living, working and trying to carve out our identity in our worlds. We know our lives can be broken and dislocated and we also know Jesus is the ultimate fixer. We are humble, because we are not worthy. So we’re not judges, and we don’t do platitudes. Life can be full of knots, but we’re living it to the full.
